Petty, Kate Maps and Journeys (Around and About Series)

Children will enjoy learning fundamentals of geography with Around and About. A cheerful and curious boy named Harry and his friendly dog Ralph travel in their balloon to learn about the earth, sea, and sky. Harry measures his backyard, maps streets near his house, learns to read a compass, and learns how to draw a map. Full-color cartoon-style illustrations on every page, glossary of terms, a quiz and an activity list make these volumes ideal for home fun, or fine as classroom supplements.
